Marketing Manager

As our new Marketing Manager, you will become part of our Commercial/GTM team and work directly with Marketing, Sales and Product representatives - as well as our CEO and COO - to help accelerate Vesper’s growth (demand generation) and create brand awareness. We are looking for a senior person with extensive marketing experience who is also willing to ‘roll-up their sleeves’ to scale up our marketing efforts and help us achieve our growth ambitions. You will build our marketing excellence foundation, as we build out this function and team in the years to come.

What you will be doing

  • Developing & executing sales enablement programs (creating supporting content, lead generation, marketing & sales automation and customer touch meets)
  • Establishing marketing plans and executing against the budget
  • Executing partnership marketing programs with clients (referrals, customer journey program, case studies etc.)
  • Developing and executing employer branding strategy to improve employee engagement and brand awareness
  • Collaborating with clients and external partners to develop communication demand generation assets
  • Developing and execute campaigns with focus on lead generation
  • Supporting our Public Relations efforts covering traditional as well as digital media
  • Producing sales enabling materials supporting the qualification of leads
  • Creating content supporting our thought leadership and product marketing
  • Setting up KPIs and constantly measuring across all marketing channels (social media, email marketing…)

What you will bring

  • A B.Sc./M.Sc./MBA degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in B2B environment, ideally in the field of (fin-)tech, business intelligence or SaaS
  • Combination of strategic and operational experience and willingness to join in
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation (nurturing, growth hacking, connecting sales with marketing, ABM etc.) and experience in executing complex lead generation campaigns
  • Experienced in both inbound and outbound commercial strategies with strong knowledge of relevant tools
  • Ability to build strong external and internal relationships with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive problem-solver with excellent listening skills and ability to understand business needs
  • Ability to manage project teams where cross functional discipline will be involved (product, clients, and subject matter experts) to implement various client facing programs
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English is a must
  • Willing and able to work on-site in Amsterdam and have an EU work permit
