Human Resources Business Partner

As our new HR Business Partner, you will work closely with our Management Team and assist them with the deployment of People initiatives and programs such as employee development, performance management, Vesper mission and vision, etc. You will also collaborate with our Recruitment Team and participate in key recruitment processes. You will also collaborate with our Marketing Team and take the lead in several employer branding projects to bring Vesper corporate culture to life and support its development.

What you will be doing

  • Learning and Talent Development: cooperate with the HR team and the team managers to roll out a high-quality onboarding and competency development program.
  • Advise our management team on how to scale our functional teams, prioritising the commercial teams
  • Performance management: provides tailored professional development, performance evaluation and development initiatives for managers and employees. Conduct check-ins and frequent reviews with them
  • Help us “formerly establish” Vesper’s company culture to life and support its growth
  • Participate in the design and management of our compensation and benefits strategy, including standardised role descriptions and salary scales.
  • Partner directly and effectively with other members of the HR team to help drive appropriate People initiatives
  • Provide advice and support with regards to employment policies and procedures
  • Support and develop our managers to address complex and sensitive day-to-day issues
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for further development and growth of the HR function.

What you will bring

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in diverse HR disciplines, including talent development, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, and culture.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in partnering with managers and business leaders
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
  • Able to work independently
  • Project management experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM or similar
  • Experience and knowledge of Dutch labour law and regulations
  • Passion for people and collaborative way of working
  • Trustworthy and encourage others to take risks
  • Take ownership and feel comfortable to come up with new ideas
  • Eager to learn and develop yourself and others around you.
  • Open minded and enjoy working with people from other cultures and respects cultural differences
